5 Nov 12 Josephine Very well organised event, great venue at school for start and finish, very helpful people at registration and great welcome finish line, generous refreshments at finish line fruit water and variety of yoghurts and drinks. Morning rolls and Drinks available to purchase before and after run. Nice goody bag including technical dri fit t-shirt cool medal & mars bar. Great course, very challenging but with fantastic views, makes you want to train uphill more, thanks all who helped make this such a great experience. Lots of cheerers on at finish line, and finish line support stayed on until last runner passed finish, which was great to see Well done Stranraer.
2 Jun 12 Steven Gilmour Given i am not a seasoned runner, but am doing 12 half marathons in 2012 for charity and this was No.7 in 2012, this was a very tough run,

Heat, hills and a stitch for four miles. Anyway, excellent organisation, well marshalled and the intimacy of small field made it best. Great scenery as well. Maybe earlier in the day or year would make it a more suitable race. Racing chips would add to the professionalism of the organisation.
2 Jun 12 Jim Hamilton I took part in the half marathon walk today.Ihad a really good time and I,d like to thank everyone involved for making it so enjoyable.Hope to be back next year.
5 Jun 11 John Brown This is an excellent course as it is challenging and picturesque. This event is very well organised and everyone was so pleasant. The weather made for a great day for competitive running and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

6 Jun 10 ELK Pity about the change of time for the half marathon yesterday, it made running in the mid day sun very uncomfortable. I wonder if it would be worth missing a year and putting it back to March? Apart from that it was a great day all round, fantastic facilities at the track and a great day out for all the family. Well organised yet again.
12 Jan 10 David and Carole Wilkinson We travel from Lancashire every year for the half marathon in June.We love the course and the family friendly atmosphere. We stay in Port Patrick and have a few drinks in the pubs after the race.
15 Nov 09 michael mcnaught Ran my first stranraer 10k this year and really enjoyed the day.The hill at 3k certainly catches the breathe, but challenges the runners. Will definitely be back next year.
